We’ll discuss accommodation in the cultural Old Town and then the lively New Town and highlight attractions close by so that you can choose the right option for your Costa Blanca trip.
Note: We stayed at the Hotel Agua Azul as a couple on a group holiday.

Adults-Only Hotels in Benidorm Old Town
Hotel Agua Azul
We have personal experience at the Hotel Agua Azul (Av. Emilio Ortuño, 7), where we stayed for one week during our first holiday to Benidorm.
The hotel’s modern rooms range from single to triple, some with pool views and balconies.
Note: All of the adult-only hotels in our guide have air-conditioning and Wi-Fi unless otherwise stated, two amenities we wouldn’t travel without.
The hotel’s pool, bar, and restaurant are on the lower ground, and the breakfast is varied enough for a week’s stay.
Like most hotels in Benidorm, there is some shade throughout the day, created by surrounding towering buildings.
The pool bar can be slow to get through orders, but our biggest gripe was that the slush machine ran out within a couple of hours each day, so a vodka slush wasn’t guaranteed!
There is a solarium area on the first floor of the hotel, which is a little more private and has cabanas and beds free for guests to use.
Location-wise, you can’t beat it.
Turn right for Old Town attractions, including Tapas Alley and gay bars, left for the wild nightlife of the New Town, and straight ahead for Avenida del Mediterraneo (shopping area) that leads down to Platja de Llevant Beach and its dining and drinking options.
We walked to dinner and the dancing every night and stumbled home in the dark wee hours with chips and cheese in hand.
Planta 20, Hotel Madeira Centro‘s rooftop with the best views over the Mediterranean, is minutes away too; unfortunately, Madeira isn’t adult-only, so we couldn’t include it in this guide.
Like most hotels in our guide, you can choose between bed, bed and breakfast, half board, or all-inclusive; we opted for B&B and bought drinks as we went.
There is a small grocery shop over the road and a supermarket about a 10-minute walk from the premises.

Hotel Primavera Park
We vouch for the Primavera Park (C. Primavera, 4, 1ª Planta) rooftop terrace at sunset!
